Thanksgiving is a big priority for me because we typically host it at our home. I put a lot of time and effort into our table setting. This year I found the most beautiful eucalyptus swag and ordered it from a company called Floral Treasure. They have a grow and preserve farm in California. My swag is the Italian Creme Greenery Garland. It is a beautiful blend of green eucalyptus, silver dollar leaves and almond flax pods.
Here is their website if you are interested in checking them out.
The rest of the table was pieced together with that swag in the back of my head!
I saw the most beautiful sea grass plate chargers on an Instagram account. When I went to find them online I came up empty handed. The vintage chargers were no longer available. Little did I know Pier 1 had a beautiful version of them. They are not on their website but I did find them in store.
I also found my table runner at Pier 1
Here is the link for the Runner
I love the natural fibers, and preserved leaves combination. I needed a little sparkle and thankfully had silver candle stick holders on hand. I had bought these years ago at Hobby Lobby. But silver alone felt to fancy for all my natural fibers and texture so I added some white wooden candle stick holders I had found at a thrift store many years ago. They brought a good balance and I love the pops of silver and white mixed in with the swag.
My plan was to reuse the cloth napkins I had purchased years ago from Pier 1. When I was there I noticed they still had them.
The napkin rings were a likely choice considering my runner, swag and chargers. They are also from Pier 1.
These would not be hard to make and save a few dollars.
Can you believe Hobby Lobby had the perfect set of cups and a lovely cake plate that looked so beautiful with the rest of the table?
The cheesecake was from Costco and by far the best reward for all the work in gathering and planning the table this year! I love planning Thanksgiving for our family. The opportunity to pour something of myself into our gathering is so fulfilling. I love to decorate and the more my table setting came together the more excitement built for time with family to catch up and connect. I hope this gives you some decorative inspiration for your family get together.
This time of year my mind is frequently consumed with thoughts of all that we have experienced this year. It was not many months ago we began this business. It has been fun watching it grow. We are so thankful for all of you!
We pray you have a blessed Thanksgiving!
